Biomaker for Advanced and Experienced Makers

In addition to the No-Code Programming for Beginners programme aimed at beginners, Biomaker also provides resources for more experienced makers. These resources are designed for those who already have programming and hardware experience, or those who have completed the No-Code Programming for Biology course and are looking for their next steps.

Biomaker Challenge

The Biomaker Challenge is open to everyone, for beginner to advanced makers. Taking part is a great way to expend your skills and share your knowledge with others, whilst also working on small-scale projects with real-world applications.

Projects

The Biomaker Projects page and Hackster Hub provide documentation of all previous Biomaker projects. This is a great place to start when looking for inspiration. And if you have a project in mind, please get in touch to see how we can help.

Resources

Our Resources page provides a range of useful pages, downloads and information about different ways to expand your skills - from adding new components, to how to implement touch screen interfaces and robotics.

Join the Biomaker Community

We are always looking for experienced makers to join our community and help share our love for biology and engineering with more people. You can get involved as little or as much as you would like - from making new XOD nodes and testing out new hardware to developing new tutorials and running your own workshops.

If you’re interested in joining our growing network of Biomakers, please get in touch at coordinator@synbio.cam.ac.uk.
